1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Bortoh ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. Bortoh is operated by Bortoh Inc., based in California, USA.

2. What Bortoh Is

Bortoh is an AI-powered personal finance tracking app. It helps you track accounts, transactions, budgets, and savings goals across multiple currencies. The primary interface is a conversational AI assistant.

3. AI Disclaimer

Bortoh is not a licensed financial advisor. All AI-generated analysis, suggestions, and insights are for informational purposes only. They do not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You should consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions based on information from Bortoh.

The AI may occasionally produce inaccurate or incomplete information. While we strive for accuracy, you are responsible for verifying any information before acting on it.

4. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use Bortoh.

One person, one account. Automated or bulk account creation is not permitted.

5. Payment Terms

Bortoh offers a free tier and a Pro plan at $14.99 per month (or $149 per year). All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Pro plans include a 14-day free trial. You can cancel anytime from your profile page. When you cancel, you retain Pro features until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.

Pro users may purchase message refills (100 messages for $6.49) if they exhaust their monthly allocation.

6. Message Limits

AI message limits are approximate. Different types of requests consume different amounts of resources. A simple question costs less than a complex import or analysis. We reserve the right to adjust limits to ensure fair usage for all users.

7. Acceptable Use

You may not use Bortoh for any illegal activity, fraud, harassment, or to harm others. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the AI system. You may not use Bortoh to generate content that violates any law or regulation. Our full Usage Policy provides detailed guidelines.

8. Your Data

You own your financial data. You can export it at any time using the built-in export feature. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data (processed within 30 days). See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

9. Intellectual Property

Bortoh's design, code, branding, and AI system are the property of Bortoh Inc. You retain ownership of all data you input into the Service. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

10. Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or our Usage Policy. If we terminate your account, we will notify you and provide an opportunity to export your data, unless the termination is due to illegal activity.

11. Limitation of Liability

Bortoh is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any financial losses, damages, or decisions made based on information provided by the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of California.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email or through the app. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
